Fixed anchor points
There is a wide range of different anchor points and solutions for different situations. Anchor points are usually installed on sloping surfaces, roofs, overhangs or other places where there is a risk of falling or where a safe place is needed for an industrial climber to attach ropes for maintenance, repair or other work.
Anchor point types
1. Fall arrest anchor points. Typically used on flat roofs, where it is difficult or impractical to install a safety system; or, for example, in areas that are not fenced off and there is a risk of falling. It is also a good solution to ensure that personnel other than industrial climbers do not hang from such points, since fall arrest anchor points are not designed for static loads, they can deform if they are subjected to static loads and this becomes visible.
2. Anchor points designed to be hung from. Such anchor points are typically installed on sloping roofs, on roof overhangs, for example, to wash building windows and avoid damaging roof installations, as well as to facilitate access to places where the work takes less time than the rope fixing process.
