Anchor points
There is a wide range of different anchor points and solutions for different situations. Anchor points are usually installed on sloping surfaces, roofs, overhangs or other places where there is a risk of falling or where a safe place is needed for an industrial climber to attach ropes for maintenance, repair or other work.
Anchor point types
1. Fall arrest anchor points. Typically used on flat roofs, where it is difficult or impractical to install a safety system; or, for example, in areas that are not fenced off and there is a risk of falling. It is also a good solution to ensure that personnel other than industrial climbers do not hang from such points, as fall arrest anchor points are not designed for static loads, they can deform if they are subjected to static loads and this becomes visible.
2. Anchor points designed to be hung from. Such anchor points are typically installed on roofs or structures that are intended to be serviced using industrial climbing equipment
Installing anchor points
Installing anchor points not only solves safety and access problems to perform work, but also saves money on maintenance of the structure at height, as it reduces the time required to perform the work.
Anchor points are available for practically all types of roofs and for fastening to a wide variety of structures, both when designing them in advance and when installed after construction. Of course, we always recommend installing them during construction so that the solution is as well thought out from the user's point of view as possible and is technically easier to implement.
This is just a small part of the anchor points and standard solutions we offer. For each object, we conduct an inspection or analyze the project and provide a solution.
